The hatchet is the Tinkers' Construct mod's version of vanilla Minecraft's axe.

Crafting

The hatchet is crafted in either the Tool Station or Tool Forge and is composed of an Axe Head and Tool Rod. These parts may be crafted using a Part Builder or poured in a cast using the Smeltery.

Use

Hatchets added by Tinkers' Construct can be cheaper and more cost effective than vanilla Minecraft axes. They can be modified with enchantments that simply cannot be acquired through the use of an Enchantment Table or Anvil and Enchanted Books.
