The smeltery controller is the core component of the smeltery It is used to place the ore blocks into the smeltery, see how much molten metal you have, and display the current amount of fuel in the Seared Tank.
A hopper may be placed with its output pointing to a smeltery controller to automate placing ores/items into the smeltery.
